If you've been on the social networks at all today, you know that today, November 1st, is a landmark day for many writers, bloggers, and now, knitters too! So far today, I've seen 3 or 4 different november month long challenges:
NaNoWriMo - an annual (November) novel writing project that brings together professional and amateur writers from all over the world.
NaBloPoMo - Post something every day for a month. That's all you have to do.
NaKniSweMo - Knit a sweater in the month of November!
And now, my own invention for the month of November:
NaMoCroMo - (National Motif Crochet Month, it works!) - Design one crochet motif every day (I might go with crocheting someone else's design if I'm too busy one day though - give me a little grace!).
So - NaMoCroMo starts NOW, and here is November 1st's Motif!
