Despite my best attempts at getting a blog post out earlier in the day, here I am, it's 10:30 and I'm finally sitting down to write!
Today my mom and I hit a local spring kids consignment sale and got a ton of baby stuff for little Willow! We found a beautiful bassinet to go in our bedroom, and I bought a beautiful pottery barn crib set! Naturally, we couldn't get away without some super adorable clothes too...shopping for a little girl is SO fun! We are also going to one more sale on Saturday morning and I am hoping to possibly snag a car seat and stroller. I am crossing my fingers!
Today in the Motif-a-Day series, I am bringing you the Starlight motif! I thought I'd change up the squares I've been doing all week and have a fun star pattern.
I think this is another pattern that would lend well to having multiple colors to help break it up a bit. I also think that the single motif would make a really awesome coaster or applique! A shawl would be beautiful in this stitch pattern. I could also see continuing the 1 and 2 stacked on each other to create a scarf. Oh, the possibilities!
What do you see this stitch pattern becoming? I'd love to get to know some of my readers creative sensibilities!
Happy Crocheting until tomorrow!
Chelsea
