Crochet Ear Warmers

Hi Everyone!

Today has been a fantastically warm day for a Wisconsin winter! It hit 60 degrees here in Janesville, and I was able to keep the windows open for my kitty. He LOVED it.

I don't think I've ever properly introduced Aslan the Lion Kitty here on the blog! We adopted him back in October and he is a fantastic cat! He is really good at not getting any cat hair in my projects — seriously!

Anyways, even with 60 degree weather today, we will be back to highs of 11 degrees by Thursday. That harsh reality calls for crochet ear warmers! When thinking of ear warmers, I generally think of hats and headbands. But I wanted to share some patterns that I thought were pushing the limit of crochet ear warmers!

Braided Ear Warmer - I love the large chunky cables in this ear warmer!

Bike Helmet Ear Warmers - Seriously, one of the most innovative ideas I've ever seen! I am not as into biking in the winter time...so I would have never thought of how necessary keeping your ears could be!

Julianna - I love the beautiful chevron headband!

Entwined Ear Warmer - WOW! A real stunner of a pattern. To get this pattern you have to get a hold of the book Clever Crocheted Accessories by Brett Bara.

Crossover Cowl and Ear warmers - I love this pattern because it has a great stitch pattern! I also think it is fantastic that she covers how to make a cowl and ear warmers in the same pattern.

Juice Hat - Very interesting hat design made from slip stitches I believe!

Do you have or know of any unique crochet ear warmer patterns? I'd love to see them!

Happy Crocheting!
Chelsea
