NaMoCroMo - Day 5

It's day 5! Today was the first time I've had a hard time finding motivation to post. I'm unusually tired, even after a latte with 4 shots of espresso! So, forgive me for what will probably end up being a much shorter post than the last 4 days.

Today's motif is a pretty basic star motif. Basic fit the name of my game today, for sure.

Today has been a pretty great Saturday so far. I worked at a restaurant in Madison over the summer and never had free weekends, so I really have been taking advantage of them the past few weeks. I was able to have coffee with one of my best friends, and getting ready to finish up some class homework from the pattern writing class I've been taking over at Crochet Insider. I'm also going to start winding up 1250 yards of gorgeous Helen's Lace yarn from Lorna's Laces. I have one skein of it in the amazing "Iris Garden" colorway. Yarn review will follow soon! Tonight I will be going to see one of my friends perform in "The Red Badge of Courage" at my college. So, it's a pretty packed day. I'd love to take a nap, but seems how it's going on 2:30 with so much to do between now and 6:30, I doubt it'll happen.

Done Rambling!

So, please keep your comments flowing in on subjects I should blog about the next 25 days. Maybe you are interested in a certain stitch pattern but don't have time to try it. Pass it on to me, I might be able to turn it into motif form! Have a crochet question? I'll answer it! Want to know what I think about a certain topic? Yup, just ask.

Talk to you all tomorrow!
Chelsea
