Hey Everyone!
I know this is short notice, but I wanted to let you know that I'm going to be on the Getting Loopy with Mary Beth Temple live podcast tonight (Feb. 21 2011) at 9 PM Eastern! I think that it's going to be a lot of fun, and I'll be sure to post the recorded episode when it's ready to be listened to!
We got a lot of ice here over the last 24 hours. The trees are very pretty with little ice drops hanging off of them...but I have to say, I liked last weeks 50 degree weather much more than this!
I have been doing some more crocheting amidst all my school work and homework, and I'll be sure to post some pictures this week!
Happy Crocheting!

More Designs in the works!
Hello Crocheters!
What a Super Bowl yesterday! I enjoyed watching the Packers dominate yesterdays game while crocheting! I finished another new design during the game. It is in need of writing out, and actually a re-crocheting job as well. I'm going to make it up again in a solid yarn so you can see the cabled details better.

I made it out of Berroco Campus. I can't remember exactly which colorway it was, but I love it! The yarn is very bulky, and I crocheted it with a N hook, so it used less than 1 ball and I had it finished in a few hours.

I'm looking forward to getting this one finished!!

Blizzard!
Yes, it blizzarded here! (I know that's not a real word, but it's the only word I can think of to properly describe what REALLY happened!)
We got a ton of snow as the wind whipped and roared and howled all night long. We woke up to a huge 5 foot drift of snow covering our walk way. My daddy got the privilege of shoveling us out. Here is what it looked like after!

That's a LOT of snow. My brothers and sisters were making tunnels in the drifts. I have yet to see the inside of one (thank you lovely cold), but I will when I'm feeling better.
I did accomplish something during this blizzard! I finished up writing the fingerless mitt pattern that will accompany the Winter Spice hat!

The pattern is off at the testers right now, and I anticipate it being ready very soon!
This would be all my news for now...I'm praying for a speedy recovery from the cold I'm facing right now. I had to deal with no voice at school all day today (I think my teachers liked a quiet Chelsea for once!), but hopefully it's only a one day thing :)
